Oana Avasilichioaei

Oana Avasilichioaei est poète et traductrice. En 2005, elle a fait paraître à Toronto son recueil Abandon. Elle fera paraître en 2006 une traduction anglaise de poèmes du roumain Nichita Stanescu, sous le titre Occupational Sickness. Elle enseigne la création littéraire au collège Dawson et dirige le Atwater Poetry Project.

Oana Avasilichioaei is a poet and a translator. In the fall of 2005 a collection of poems, Abandon, was published with Wolsak & Wynn (Toronto), and in the spring of 2006 a collection of translations of Romanian poet Nichita Stanescu, Occupational Sickness, will be published with BuschekBooks (Ottawa). She is also the organizer of the Atwater Poetry Project, a monthly reading series featuring local and national poets.
